Average Age of Information in Wireless Powered Mobile Edge Computing System

Mobile edge computing (MEC) has been recognized as a promising technique to provide enhanced computation services for low-power wireless devices at the network edge. How to evaluate the timeliness of the task and data delivery is critical for the development of MEC applications. Age of Information Based URLLC-enabled UAV Wireless Communications System

This paper considers an unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) communication network, where UAV operate as an aerial mobile relay between a source and a destination of the network. To capture the “timelines” of the received information at the destination node, a new performance metric named age of information (AoI) is considered.
